4th Annual Ottawa Airport Watch Summer BBQ

After being delayed for several weeks due to inclement weather and a number of aviation related activities, the 4th Annual YOW Airport Watch BBQ finally took place on Saturday September 11, 2011 following the popular FedEx Plane Pull. While last year’s event was upgraded to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the group, for this year’s BBQ the organizing committee reverted back to the usual casual format used in previous years. Members and guests, including members of the Ottawa Police Service, gathered in the area adjacent to the Combined Services Building of the Macdonald Cartier International Airport for a late afternoon of spotting and enjoying good food.
Next year’s event is planned for June to allow more flexibility with the rescheduling if Mother Nature decides not to cooperate once again! See you then…
